Thatr would be good, but I can't sleep on the ground any more! I'd be stove up for a month!

Worked on the ditch crossing at the farm today:  Farm 2016 058.JPG

Cut some hickory poles to fill in the ditch: Farm 2016 059.JPG  Farm 2016 060.JPG

Put some light chain across the upstream end & staked it down to (hopefully) keep them from floating loose. I'll fill it in with some clay just before the trail ride.

Picked up the sticks off the trails this morning, ditch crossing will need a little more work next week, but is usable.  Things are about ready!

Trails are mowed,    Wildlife 2016 843.JPG  Ditch crossing is ready (if it doesn't rain too much before then)! I'll mow the picnic grounds again next week.

Trail ride is ON for tomorrow!

I'll go out & put the signs up this afternoon:  1159.JPG

It will be a bit wet in places, but we'll manage!

For anybody planning to attend tomorrow's trail ride:

Because of the wet conditions, I'll be having people park at the end of the gravel road, I'll have signs up.  You can park in the grass on either side of the road & we can shuttle things like food & chairs with our Gator.

Don't want to risk somebody getting a vehicle stuck!

Up too early this morning!

I'll be heading out in an hour or so, need to pack up the food, stop for ice & get going.  I'll have to haul stuff to the last 1/4 mile picnic ground with the Gator & cart because of the wet conditions, then set up the canopies & tables.  So, quite a bit to do this morning, but it's worth it!
