The very first model Cub GT that IH built. It didn't have a model name or number like later models. The first GT that IH came out with in 1961 was simply Named Cub Cadet. The next model was the Cub 70,then the Cub 100,and so on as they progressed thru the years. So people refer to the first model as "Cub Original".

An 'Original':

Fenders and lights were options.

A model 70:

Fenders and lights were still options, but the lights went to being mounted above the grille.
