Need help deciding which one to take to the parade. Need to know soon so I have time to clean one up a bit. Here are the candidates. Ford with disks, or John Deere with mower.
The fella coming with me,has a MF14 with 3 point and one sod plow.

Noel

Thanks for helping me decide.

The Ford looks nicer but will require more trailer space with the disk.  The John Deere will be easier to maneuver with just the deck but more work to clean up.  Either one will look good with an operator on it  - participation is the key to enjoying - enjoy the day and the parade.

I'd lean towards the Ford so that you and your buddy have complementary attachments. Showing GTs as more than lawn mowers is a good point too. Have fun! Good Luck, Rick

Both are parade worthy machine's but I would lean towards the Ford because I hate mower decks for parades and such, seems like a liability.

If it were me I'd take the Ford with Disc and follow the Massey with plow,  That way you show GT's are more than cutting grass and proper way is to plow  then disc,  thats why i suggested the Ford follows the Massey.

I vote for either the Ford with the disk, or the Ford towing a trailer, with the Deere on the trailer. Just kidding. I agree with those who have said the disk is a better complement to your buddy's plow though. You can remove the rear gang on it if that makes things easier for maneuvering  or trailer space.

Ford with a single disk set or a cultivator.

The Ford.
People will have to ask what make is that?
And someone may say "my uncle's got one out behind his barn"
Question is, which one would you like to have more of?

Are you going to drag the disc on the asphalt???

That is my question. Or are they going to be trailer queens.   Don
