And older gentleman just dropped this off and asked me to take a look at it for him.  Just wanted to share it with everyone, as I love the sickle bar mower attachment on it.  He has 32 more tractors of various makes and models at home, and invited me to come look at them one day.  I see a short road trip in my future soon.

First bar mower I have seen with a center shoe.  Would love to find one for one of my Bolens.

All of the 46" Simplicity sickles had the center shoe. The 700 Series and other RBT's used a "planetary" drive unit to reduce the speed from the mid-pto. These are one of the most scarce attachments for those tractors.

AC 712.jpg Great looking tractor.  Here's a picture of the one I just picked up.  Waiting for fuel pump and voltage regulator.  Still trying to figure out how the steering wheel is assembled since this one was drilled and bolted at top and worn holes at slit shaft.  Hoping someone sells a new wheel.
