Twenty slices of bread stacked high on a face

A cure for a headache or a loaf balance with grace?

Not sure the cause of this tower of bread slices

That has become a food stable of both men and mices

Perhaps a sandwich was on her mind at bed time

And grew overnight by a slight quirk of crime

As down to the kitchen she walked in her sleep

And brought back the bread while in a trance so deep

Where is the jam, the peanut butter or some other spread

To make this a meal she could enjoy in her bed

When she wakes up from her sleep of a dreamy treat

She won't have far to go to get something to eat

And when she removes the loaf on her mind

She will have an imprint on her face of the bread kind
