I have a Power King 1218 I purchased in 1993. It has the Kohler M18 twin cylinder engine and a fiberglass hood and rear body assembly. I'm looking for a service manual for this tractor. The manuals I've looked at on GTT don't seem to match this vintage of tractor i.e. there are no separate side panels as the hood is all one piece. I need to tear it down to get to the ignition module and can use all the help I can get. I have service manuals for the engine, but would like to have disassembly details for the tractor itself.

If you look at the 1200 Series Part 3 manual available in the manuals section has the instructions on removing the hood and engine.
I replaced the ignition module on an M18 in a '89 1618 that I had and the most difficult part is unbolting the driveshaft coupling from the engine.

Hi Jim, I recommend you purchase the PK thumb drive that Larry Goss has avaialable its only $10.00 it includes shipping and the drive has over 30000 pages of PK information. I think one of our members here also sells it, here's a possible manual for your tractor.

I've got that thumb drive, but had no clue what manual would be for that tractor. Are those uploaded to the PK Manuals section?
