yup I have a 1200 as well, about #3 on the depth chart to get its time in the garage.... mine needs the motor pulled, flipped over and the governor gear put back into place, mine came to me with the governor gear retaining screw laying on the frame alongside the engine.... weird.

This thing is really pretty clean, rear tires nice, runs clutch is good even the parking brake held it in place in the pickup on the ride home. Cranked up with a new plug. Carb needs built.

If it has a Walbro carb go find your self a good used Kohler Carter #26 carb for on it.Much much much better carb and very easy to clean and tune.

Got my clutch plates turned, driveshaft is good just need new t/o brg and some pins. Prolly a new disc since Im here. Replaced head gasket and trued head, cradle mod, made a muffler clutch and using some sway bar engine mounts on top. Combustion chamber was really clean, crosshatching still visible in the bore.
Eric you are correct abt a Walbro my 129 had one, all mine are Carter now.

Got a new throwout bearing, used the old upper mounts as lowers and sway bar bushings as uppers, new head gasket, did the cradle mod and built a muffler crutch. Fired up and runs fine but smokes a bit.
