Bugs on a stick - not my kind of treat

Definitely not something you'd want to eat

Not sure why they are stacked this way

Perhaps someone was having a very slow day

And decided to stack them five high

At least in a flood the top one should stay dry

I would think to a collector the sight would cause

Their heart rate to flicker and give them pause

They might see it as a waste of five cars

That to them would look better shining like stars

But to someone the stacked look is the sight

And I suppose they do have the right

As long as the beetles are safe and secure

And won't topple over but rather upright endure

To others they may have been the dune buggys five

Like bees around a queen in a honey hive

But it could be the start of a new hit song

A beetles tune that is high on the charts but not very long
