:welcome:
I'm not sure how to tell what year, probably need the serial number. I do know they were made from 1977-? I think 1983 or so was the last year for these models.
:brain_fart:I'm just waking up.LOL What are all the engine #s? They usually are used to tell year. If you post them, we can get you real close.

Glad to have you with us.

Wasn't the LGT 165 built from about 1974 to 1983 ? I'm not sure how you decipher the serial numbers on a Ford.

Has your Ford got an open sided engine compartment,or has it got side panels ?

Maynard, glad someone who has a working brain is around. But I did look thru my parts manual and the 09jc3337 was made from 1977-? So it is '77 to about '83-'84. the only way I have been told is by the year of the engine, taken from the serial # on it. On mine, the original (I hope) serial on the engine puts it as built in '76. The tractor serial is a low #, so I figured mine as an early '77 model. I have not found a breakdown of tractor serial #s for years for Fords. This does make it a closed side tractor.
