I bought several of these motors. Have them on sale locally as well for $325. These are on ebay for $499 up. parts are easy to get from what I have seen. I am keeping 2 for me, but have others to sell. All these motors were built in 1990

I can ship via Fastenal if someone is interested. If paying by paypal, would ask to split the fee with me.

Can be used to run generators, pumps, etc.

Rated at 6hp, these motors can produce 20hp or more. Google the motor numbers and there is plenty of information on them. Good to have around as a back up motor.

Even saw where one guy put one in an International garden tractor.........

Same ones they put in Ultralight Aircraft, correct?  I believe these units are a small four-cylinder weighing in around 80lbs.  Capable of great power with some modifications.

Cool little engines, and good luck with the sale.  I'm holding out for a Wankel.  :P

I've seen these engines for sale before.  I'm just curious...what's the parts availability on them?

Yes some have been used in ultralights - from what I have seen you can buy rebuild kits fairly cheap- these guys are putting larger carbs on them and less restrictive air filters to increase the power of the engines - these things were built to run in poor conditions

Saturnsurplus.Com carries any part you could ever need. They ask $750 for this same engine.

Wow that takes me back to my Michigan Air National Guard days. I maintained

a few of those that were power back-up for various buildings on Kellogg Field

Battle Creek ANG. The Military model for me was PU-666 and they were very

reliable.

Just sold 1 locally for $325. I have a total of 8 to sell. So 7 left at this point. This is a good deal, if you have a need. I can deliver if with in the areas I travel time to time. Which is SC-NC-some of VA. Just would need to be willing to wait till I come that way again. He was buying it as a back up as well. (I am keeping 2 for myself)- I do go into South GA - Augusta - Macon south to Albany....and the Tallahassee areas.

If I don't have to go out my way on the trip, I will deliver for free. Just might need to meet me at the interstate exit.
