Another Bolens hiding in the undergrowth but what is it?

A friend of mine took a few photos of the remains of a Bolens hood. I can make out a 7 and a Husky Dog logo. Any ideas? He only took these photos....

It might be from a rear engine rider. That kind of situation it should be free in exchange for some brush cutting. Good Luck, Rick

Bolens made a rear engine rider in the early 70's that had an engine cover like that. They were painted gold here in the States.

Wow, good call guys!  I would have no clue what that thing is (or if it is even all there) from those pictures...

 

So, why does it say "Howard Bolens 7" on it?

Howard's imported Bolens to the UK and hence it's part of the decals on some of the U.K. Bolens.
