That's nice and all; but still think you should have bought a Canon.

A man with a camera held in his hands bare

Dressed for the cold while a gorilla does stare

Both seem to focus on the back of the display

I wonder what it is they are studying this day

A picture of a scantily clad woman in a daring pose?

Perhaps an image of a female gorilla holding a rose?

Maybe a nice warm beverage showing signs of heat?

Maybe a nice tasty meal that they both could eat?

Whatever the subject it is interesting to see

Them both appearing to in very deep thought be

Communicating in a way that dates back to a cave

When men did not quite so politely behave

And perhaps the gorilla was the more civilized example

Back then of how to behave and lead by example

One thing appears to be clear in the photo of the pair

The gorilla is behind glass and has nothing but hair

To keep him warm because he is smart enough to know

To come in out of the cold before his nose red does glow

The man with the camera has things on to keep in the heat

But with his hands bare he may soon have to retreat

I sometimes wonder if the gorilla came from a land in space

To observe and study a strange life form called the human race

And simply plays dumb so that we leave them alone

While we walk around staring at a screen on a phone

Actually that is a cannon, high end cannon lenses are white/tan so they don't absorb the heat. You won't be able to touch a lens like that for under $1200 new.

(my brother is into cameras)

And a chimp like that would cost more than the camera!
