It'll be next week before I bring it home, but I found another old derelict to bring home. This is a Yazoo 48" with a Briggs 16 HP on it.

Looks like this one I borrowed the pic of.

I just scrapped one of those things last month. Forward was out of the tranny both low and high, went backwards fine. I couldn't find any parts for it so I yanked the engine and junked the rest.

Bad part is the owner could pass for him! We'll see what transpires. He says he mowed with it a couple years ago! Figure the 16 HP B&S is worth the asking price and then some!

Too bad as I may need a few things!

Just a guess, but I bet it's not cooling very efficiently if you get it to run......

Those are so cool. I keep my eye peeled for one with the 60" deck and the Wisconsin, but I'm always just a tad bit slow or penniless.

Brother has one like Cat mentioned with Wisconsin and 60 incher.  He let me run it once.  I'm not a fan of seatbelts but dddang! that thing needs one.   Steering is quick and it'll throw you around like a rag doll.

Kenny, I may have some parts for you as I have one that I bought for the Kubota engine in it. Was told that it ran and mowed great, but the wiring is totally gone and it need all 3 tires. It has a 60" or maybe a 72" deck on it that I won't need.

Thanks Brian! I hope it won't take much to get it running. I may have to put a starter solenoid on it as it has the old big button (think old floor mounted dimmer switch). Says that was not working.

The owner stopped by today and brought me the manual for this. I'll see if I can scan and upload it, but the parts pics cover 2 pages.

Anybody can help point me to the correct manual for the engine? It's a B&S Model 326437, Type 0318-01, Code 8003261.
