I will try something different for the next pictures. For some reason it also takes 7-8 minutes to upload each picture from the phone. Hopefully the PC will be back up soon.

Tractor has to feel better with the pending heart transplant.
Just out of curiosity, why is the motor on sideways in the one pic?

If it's not charging, pull that flywheel and check the magnets. With that muffler up there, could have loosened them!

A little progress this evening. The plan is to put the Tractor back into running condition and work out the bugs, then hopefully this winter take it apart for paint.

Looks like you have a leak from the rear end.....I think its a great idea to get it running first then tear it apart again. If I would not have done that with my hydro I would not have found a few issues until I got it running.

I decided to at least pull the tins and make sure the fins were clean and straighten up the head tins before I bolted the engine on the tractor.

It has at least two leaks that I have to iron out. Here is the thread to where I pulled the rearend and hydro out and completely were thru the hydro pump and drive motor last winter. The tractor had sat outside in a wet field for 15 years. The hydro was full of water and stuck. I know the input shaft seal on the pump is leaking and one metal line is leaking at a connection that I didn't get tight but I can't tighten it until I take the pump back out to replace the input shaft seal. It is tight under there ! http://gardentractor...per +18t +hydro

I got the PC back up and going but now its been too long so I couldn't edit the original post to add a link to the original thread that I had on this tractor so its in my reply above. EDIT: You would think that by my age I would slow down and take a better look before I speak (or type). I just saw that MH not only fixed the pictures in my first post but looks like he added a link back to the thread. Thank you Alan.
