Would the cultivator beam extensions be made of the same stock as the cultivator frame itself  ?   Or some special steel ?

The ones I have look to be the same stock used for the frame. As simple as they made these tractors I wouldn't think they'd get to technical with using different types of steel. They probably tried to keep the cost down as much as possible too.

I have a frame that has a twist in it from a hard life that might be better used as beam extensions but wasn't sure

Here's a video showing the extensions I have.

I'll have to wait until I get home to watch your video , they have filters here at work the block a lot of things . Do you think the cultivator frame would work for the extension ?   Would you mind taking a few close-up of the extensions and how the tabs are welded at the attachment point ? Thanks Al
