Ok so the 1477-01, 1886-01 and the 1886-02 had it I never seen a good photo of a 1886-02 to tell if those did.

Now that you say that, I see it's been repainted over red paint.
I don't know what's under that!
Looks like I need to break out the sand paper!

The 853 with the brown grille is real, I've only seen two of them though. Everyone says the G11 is so rare but there are many more of them than there are 853's.

Well now you have me wondering about mine. Mine is off white and it was all original when I started to restore it. This one was never brown. I wonder if they made both?

The first run of 853's sported the "bolens" hood decals and did not come with a brown grille, the second run with the "Husky" hood decals had the brown grille

So mine is correct? I'm guessing the Husky decals are the big ones on the sides of the hood like the 1886?

The Husky decals were usually the ones across the front of the hood (that also surrounded the headlights).
