Thanks, I printed out the above picture and plan to stop back at Sears this evening. They have one installed there, and I'll take a closer look.

That's cheap! I know I could make it work! Might just scarf one of those up for Alice!

Well, It is going back under their 30 day refund policy. I don't see any way this will fit any of my machines without serious modifications.

I can't see much advantage from it unless you do all the mowing around noon. When we lived in Texas I did all my mowing at dawn or just before dark.

That is one reason I experimented with LED lamps to mow in the evenings. I was hoping the cover would work as it would look cool at the tractor show. I think there is a different model as the mounting bracket shown wasn't what I got. I am willing to exchange this and try again.

Being a red-head... I think that is pretty spiffy ;) And the price sure seems right. How would you rate the apparent durability? I mean, when you run into a tree limb do you think it'll survive or just crumple?

I could make one fit! A few 'nips & tucks' and the surgery would be done! Hope to get back to mine soon! It's rather warm here!

Has been exchanged for a different model. It is supposed to be here next Wednesday. It should have this type of mount.

It takes about 4 hours to mow the 3 acres. If I weed eat add another 3.

I feel for ya!! Is there a rule that it all has to be mowed in one 4 hour period? When I lived there anything that couldn't be done in the tree shade got done very early or very late. I was born and raised in Abilene, but after spending many years in cold country I discovered I can still take the cold better than the heat.

I was looking and saw that there is a separate adapter kit for some tractors.

Yes, I try and weed eat in the evenings if I can. Early AM is out of the question as wife likes to sleep in. as for the riding I like to try and do it all at once, I break the yard up into three areas and take a break in between each to check the mower and grab a beverage. Front Yard, Back Yard, and Drive way.

MH I looked at that, it won't fit what I have. I am hoping the one with the individual spring mounts work. I know this is flimsy, and will more likely need beefed up, but the main use will be for show. If I do use it to mow with I'll need to mow under the trees and bushes first with out it. then install it for the wide open areas.
