Just wanted to let all the bolens guys know, in Somonauk Illinois craigslist ad there is a steel wheel bolens tractor that is up for sale. The price seems high and I don't collect two wheels but I know a few guys here really love them! I have not seen any like this but again I don't follow them, it sure does look cool though. Happy hunting gentlemen and ladies.

I have one just like that It is a power ho but Bolens used that name really even earlier with their first tractor the model A. That tractor had a Briggs WI Bolens also had one that was basically same tractor but with a model UR6 that was a model 11A I'm still looking for one of those myself. This tractor was also marketed by I think Wards and those had a hummer engine on them I have only seen one or two of those units so far.

Those handle bars are strange. One is cut off short.

The second handle is attached to the tool bar and slides back and forth to guide the cultivator.  It was a common Bolens design on the early tractors. It's hard to get used to.
