I just purchased a 1972 SS15 with a sickle bar mower on it. It does work but could use a littlerust removal and paint along with new teeth. Does anyone know hat color the original mower was?I got in late lastnight and couldnt get a pic of it to post but will post one in a couple of days.

I've only seen one of those tractors before. Thought it was a mistake at first LOL. What brand of sickle bar is it? Did Sears ever sell one under their brand name?

I think they were Haban. I've seen several different colors on them, usually matched or contrasting the tractor. IDK if they were OEM or not.

I may have pics of one on a sears... Somewhere.

Found it. Not restored. Looks like the old Brinly Color (IH White)

Thanks for photo. I have two parts numbers for sears sickle bar mowers. I downloaded the manual for # 842.26002 from this site. The other one looks to be like what mine is more like # 917253120. I ordered thelast item number manual from e bay. Hope it is the one I need. I have seen one photo that shows the sears attachments they do appear to be a white ,but not sure of what name of white. The picture is from above and there are numerous items.
