Yup, seen it, actually many of the newer Jake's had this. They made them into the 90's.

So they were post Jacobsen!

Post Ford but not Jacobsen they made them for almost a decade more, before throwing in the towel on home owner lawn tractors. I looked at a Homesite Jake that was a 92 model year and still had a flathead Kohler 16hp in it. I didn't look on the engine tag to see if it was actually a 92 or not , but it was insanely quiet when it ran, but the front axle was whipped as was the steering box too. So I passed on it. I wanted a 195 sized rig...
