I've still got my 1969 Schwin 27" and a Raliegh 20" folding. I don't ride anymore but hope that they will be heirlooms to a grandkid someday. Good Luck, Rick

I bought a blue Continental 10 speed with my grass mowing money in 1965.

Thanks for posting!

My first bike was a stingray.

As a teenager, I found a continental in someone's trashcan and fixed it up. Mounted a granny gear on the front and used it like a mountain bike.

My first real mountainbike was a schwinn cimarron, which was one of the last Schwinn  frames still made the usa. I worked in a bike store, and as a gift from the manager, he gave me the cimarron frame. It was a warranty defect(minor defect- not safety related).  I was just riding it tonight with my daughter on the back!

Good stuff!
