I don't even want to know about this game it seems its going to consume all your time and turn you into a zombie. I hope I never get one of these things in my yard.

I can't see the attraction of it myself and it's all the rage over here in the UK too.

Its scary how society has become so wrapped up in virtual reality, I think I seen on the news someone was chasing one of these imaginary things on their phone and ran into the street and got hit by a truck..... :hitting_self_roller:

It all started with that darn "Smart Phone".  Lets go back to a phone that is just that, a  PHONE, to make and receive phone calls.

We don't need all this other stuff that goes along with it.  If you want to take pictures, get a $100 camera and it will do just fine.  Pictures might even come out right side up.  There, I said my piece.

Although technology has helped alot , it just seems like there's too much now in my opinion anyway. Kind of gets to a point when you say when do you draw the line and do you really need all those apps , programs ect. Are we going to get to a point where we no longer think for ourselves and let the robots run our lives??  I dont know  only time will tell.

I currently work on a university campus. Yesterday, a young lady riding a bike while looking at her phone rode straight into a chain link fence. Me being the consumate gentlemen, offered to render assistance. Her response was something that rhymes with yuck foo.

Never one to miss the chance to play the role of Mr. Obvious, I responded that rude and stupid was not going to be easy path to take through life, but I wished her luck.

I told the Safety Officer for the GC that he should stand next to the sidewalk and give out prizes to anyone walking (under the age of 30) along not on their phone. A handful of prizes should cover an 8 hour shift.

To stare at a phone - what is the attraction

That draws one to a screen to gain satisfaction

To see what they missed in the last minute unfold

Some great new discovery that must be told?

A cure for all cancer or the common cold

This is the reality that becomes real as you grow old

To chase after a game that they can't do without

Is a sad statement of the world without a doubt

When what is not real is more important to a race

Make me think I have lost touch and feel so out of place

And sadly it is seen while people walk, ride and drive

I wonder if the next generation will be able to survive

The pitfalls that will come with being tuned in to a screen

Instead of the real world where obstacles normally foreseen

Will prove to be deadly and take lives and cause pain

To so many people - have we all gone insane?

Instead of earth hour maybe it is time to make

A must turn off time for the future of man kinds sake

To get back to the earth, the bees and the bugs

The love of family and friends complete with the hugs

Instead of relying on a piece of electronics with a display made of glass

To survive through a day and make twenty four hours pass

I heard 2 guys fell off of a 75' cliff trying to "collect" a pokemon, I think this is a good way to weed out the dumb people

One guy wrecked his car while playing. Another found a body in an alley. Definitely a game I won't be spending much time on.

Probably 1/3 are on unemployment, another 1/3 on welfare, and bunch more trying to get on one or the other so they have more free time to play.  Went to pick up my glasses yesterday.  Next to the eye Dr. is a Game store.  A young couple was sitting outside in front of the window in folding lawn chair, each had a large drink and sharing a box of donuts.  Both had their phones play ???? probably on the free WiFi from the store.  What a waste.

A guy here was killed when he stopped his car in traffic and got out to 'collect' one.
