I seen where a few of you have used this rpm meter & liked it so I bought one. I also needed a compression tester & although rather low in price it has good reviews. I had a very nice Sun brand tester along with a vacuum & timing light but can't find the compression tester anywhere. I probably loaned it out & everyone forgot about it. :mad2:

Two very useful tools that can tell you a lot about an engine - thanks for sharing.  Now that you have a new compression tester the old one will show up and say hi.

Strange how a vacuum gauge can tell you a lot about an engine when running as well but very few small engines have any where that you could easily attach one to measure vacuum.

I tried the vibrating disk with the wire that you adjust, but the Photo Tach is so much easier to use, and was half the price!!

As I've said before, when I got mine I checked it against a 1750 RPM elec motor and it was right on.
