It always sucks when that happens but it is almost a promise that it will happen sooner or later unless something else were to fail. Let us know how you make out and what it is for sure.

Let me know if I can help you on parts. When they break I tear them down, send them to the machine shop, then order the right rebuild kit depending on cylinder boring, crank turning. You can put another motor on it while you rebuild that one, but It really only takes a few days, 100 bucks to the machine shop, 100 bucks for the rebuild kit, good for a long, long time
