MF 1450 runs great fro 10 - 15 minutes then dies

Try loosening the gas cap. I had a friend with the exact problem. If the gas cap is to tight and the gas cap breather is plugged then the vacuum created prevents gas from flowing into the carb.

Thanks for all the replies everyone.
It was much appreciated.

So I ran it to the point of failure again and discovered that if I left the hood opened slightly that the issue stopped.
Because of this, I added the exhaust extension as noted earlier in this thread and have had no issues since.

I'll do done time on it again this weekend and will post an update.
