I drive a semi for a small trash and metal recycling company. The other day I found this in a scrap metal pile, worked out a deal with the boss and drug the tractor and trailer out. I don't know how it got there but if I were guessing I would say someone parked the tractor in a barn or shed for the last time and it sat there for many years until things changed and someone came along and hauled it to scrap. The tractor is complete and pretty straight. The engine seems to have good compression too. Maybe I will get around to checking it out better before long or at least find a dry corner for it for now.

Seems all too common anymore, either scrap or local consignment auction.

Another saved.

I really want to find a case of that style.  I don't like the newer ones --that style has so much character.

Agreed. That case is on my list. Amazes me what people toss out.

Really looking for a 195, but a 150 would be cool, too.

I wasn't looking for a Case at all but I am a vintage GT nut and will try to save what I can. I just couldn't bring myself to leave it there. I had to lock my pick up in and drag metal out of the way,do a lot of hand dragging of metal and with the position it was in,two of use had a very rough time getting the tractor back on its wheels without doing more damage. Then we drug it out with my pick up and loaded it with a backhoe. They just aren't making vintage GT's anymore. Save em if you can !

Very nice machine Hank ! I really like these early style 100 series Case tractors but I don't really have time space or money for this one right now (or anytime soon either,I have two project tractors ahead of it and A LOT (lol) of non tractor projects a head of it). So chances are this one is going down the road to someone else.

If in I was closer I'd take that off your hands in a second. It would work well with my 120, make for great bookends.

Glad that someone who appreciates these old tractors at least is giving it a second chance of serving someone for years to come.

Great save, congrats. :beerchug:
