Just finished cuttin the grass with the MF7. Cuts smooth and cuts those leafy weeds in one slice. Just a joy to use. Nice to trim with and just as quick as a hydro, forward and reverse. If you don't have one, you should get one, if you have one, ya know what I'm talking about. Just my thoughts.

About any mower will do a good job if it is set up right, blades are relatively sharp and straight and the deck is not to big.  The bigger the deck the worse the cutting job. We run 50", 48", 44" and 42", depends on which one we want to grab.  The nicest job is with the 42" deck on a Cub LT1018.  Just takes a little bit longer.  Just my thought and experience.

I also run a 72" rear discharge finish mower on my TEA20 ferguson tractor and it's just as good as any of the garden tractors. They say, who ever they are, that a single blade 30" go cart style mower does a good job too. I have never used one.

I tell you this 48" deck makes small work of my lawn

Cuts not bad either.

Deck won't be staying on this tractor (Stinky) its a manual and I prefer to mow and snow blow with a hydro.

I will be breaking down and getting me a comfy seat
