John, it's named after Popeye's buddy Bluto, a real brute! He later became Brutus but us old timers remember him as Bluto.

I remember him as "Bluto" also Major! A friend a long time ago went by that nick name, also derived from that character.

I dig the "optional" R/T badging on your tractor, Ray!!! Looks like a great machine.

I did not name mine either. My wife chose both name....First one "stinky" I think she made up to make fun of my tractor ...after seeing me put all that work into getting it running and painting it I put in 1 of the 4 engines I had and it fogged up the yard. Between the bad rings , the mmo in the gas, and the oil I put directly into the engine to lube the valves I am surprised that the fire department didn't show up.

Yesterday I was just finishing up on my wifes ride and was checking out a snow blower for it earlier that day. After I pushed them all out to take the picture she asked me if the guy called about the snow blower for "lucy" .....I looked at her and questioned "lucy"? Thinking to my self man this thing is tight how can she call it lucy. Anyway the name stuck, later on she asked me if she wanted me to park Lucy in the garage...I said sure then came in here to tell you all the new name.
