Welcome to the forum. You could check the manuals section of the site. Not sure if we have one for your tractor or not. One of the Wheel horse guys will be along to help too.

I've had issues with new belts before. WH had a particular belt that worked for them. When I went out and bought a industrial belt from Farm & Fleet that was the right size, it was too stiff and didn't want to release properly when the clutch was pushed in. Be aware as the belt got broke in, it got better.

 Welcome to the Forum! I looked through our manuals and didn't see much for the C-101. I did see these were made in 1978-9 and the model # is 91-10K801 or 802.

Found a belt for a C-105. It is part # 7473 and is a 5/8" X 82" belt.

Did some on line searching and found this.

Here's a screen shot:

The 7478 is a 5\8" X 84" belt.

The 106496 is a  5\8" X 85" belt.

If the C-101 has a 16hp engine on it it is not original to the tractor.

If the engine is original the tractor would be a model C-161.

The engine is the only difference in the two tractor models.
