I know it isn't a "tractor" but it is a Honda engine. I have a ditch witch trencher with an 11hp Honda, I would like to find out how far out of level this engine can safely operate. With many engines this is determined by the carburetor, but I have also heard of engines that would run fine at extreme angles but starve for oil. I just don't know where to find this information. Thank you Don.

Most newer OHV Honda engines have a Low Oil Shutdown solenoid on them.I would think it would shut the engine off if the oil goes below that so I would not worry about that to much.Just make sure your oil is topped off.

The GX series is rated to run at up to a 20 degree slope continuously.
