Looking for a decent working PTO clutch for a wide frame (109) at a reasonable price.  Mine won't disengage and I don't want a safety hazard around the kiddos.

Thanks much!

Jeff

Jeff, could you use one off of a Cub Cadet 108/109. I am not 100% certain on operation since I never had a mower on it, but assume it to have been disengaging, but cant swear anything right now because I was not paying attention to its operation before removing it last year. I removed it because the starter/generator pulley/pto basket was loose on the shaft and ruined. I replaced entire thing with a regular pulley and eliminated the PTO all together. The basket pulley is not repairable but the pto bearing was good and the pto clutch assembly is intact, careful removal by me. If you want it let me know.

If it won't disengage then it either needs the rod adjusted to the pto leaver or the fiber or brass pto button is worn down or the bearing is seized or someone over tightened the adjustment screws. They have Jam nuts on the back side of the 3 screws. They are all really easy fix and rebuild.
