I BOUGHT A 8179 WITH TWO ROTARY BROOMS. WHILE MY WIFE THINKS THESE "STREET SWEEPERS" ARE COOL, I DON'T HAVE MUCH USE FOR THEM. I WOULD LIKE TO MOUNT A 40 INCH MOWER DECK OR A BRUSH HOG OUT FRONT. WHAT PARTS DO i NEED LOOKING FOR A SHOPPING LIST PLEASE OR A PLACE TO GO TO RESEARCH ALL I NEED. THANKS IN ADVANCE

I'm not familiar with the 8179. Is it a two wheel or a rider? Here's where I find most of my Gravely info.

If one of the brooms you received was mounted on the 8179, you already have the shafts ,and front mount assembly to put on the brush hog, rotary plow etc. pictures would help, because you may have the new style front lift(maybe..... )

I was thinking of selling one. I'll need to check on a price. Any ideas on the stuff needed to mount the mower deck in front?

Sure don't! I bought my 450 last fall and haven't done much with it. I need to clean a bunch of electrical connections on it. Runs great though.

I am thinning the herd:

selling 2 Dixons

1 JD lx176

1 PK 1614

keeping the 16G

the 816(needs engine)

and the 8179

I have a challenge with trying to get good at too many things. I want to just be able to keep the Gravelys running and the jetskis.

And sweeties deckboat

I think you need the "front adapter weldment" to use the walk-behind attachments, there is one for sale on ebay right now.
