I have long enjoyed finding and playing with vintage American built 60's and 70's trikes,3 wheelers, minibikes,go karts, buggies, dirtbikes, etc.but stayed away from the newer over seas built stuff. Well a neighbor had a yard sale and these two little pocket bikes came home with me. One is a Zoom pocket rocket, the other is a mini chopper. The only thing I can find on the chopper is "American Jimmy.com". They are both 50cc two stroke powered. Normally I can find a forum or info about almost anything I drag home but I have found little on these besides a few parts places and eBay. That will come in handy but I would like to find a good info site. Does anybody have any ideas on where to look ? Here's a few pictures. I have the body work off the Zoom working on the carb. Looks like I will have to get one for it. The chopper will need an engine. It has electric start but of looks like that may be tough to find

Wow...Is that the bike Peter Fonda rode in "Easy Rider"?

It looked so much bigger in the movie!

It may have shrunk as its gotten older  :poke:  but I it does appear to be a rendition of Capton America. That's one of the reasons I like it.

I saw that. I am hoping to find a site or two with general info. Like what brings people here. Just looking to get more "learned" on these things.

I like the chopper. I just Googled pocket bikes & got a lot of websites, questions, manuals on pdf etc. Also a forum. I had a blue Lil Indian with a 3 hp briggs back in the late 60's...wish I still had it. My Dad put a straight pipe (water pipe) on it for me. I would zip down the road wide open then let off the throttle & wake up the dead back firing. Keep us posted....with you on it.

I have done some googling too. Mostly just came up with parts sites and a few manuals. Those will be handy but a forum like bbuckler posted is what I am looking for to pick up general info. I think I have seen that one already though. I was hoping to find maybe another too.

I do a lot of vintage stuff like Rupp,Alsport,MTD,Indian, etc.there is a big following for vintage American stuff,I even run a group for vintage American trikes, karts, buggy's,and minibikes. There is a lot of info out there for those, kind of like our vintage tractors but these pocket bikes are a whole different animal, kind  of like the Chinese scooters and dirtbikes.
