While we meandering home, in the middle of nowhere again, we were at a stop sign, and across the road was an Allis Chalmers B for sale.

I could see a gentleman sitting in the doorway of his machine shed.   We pulled in to ask about the tractor.  The guy was working on a Cub Low Boy  184.  Over the next 45 minutes we talked tractors, & garden tractors. Also he knew where I lived and a little history of the village.  The ladies talked Quilts and whatever else women talk about.  They were nice folks and we exchanged numbers and he is going to check on the availability of an old tiller steering garden tractor for me.  He didn't know what brand of tractor, but he knew what old barn it is in and that it had tiller steering.   Looking forward to hearing from them.     Rick

That looks nice.

You didn't buy it and drive it home?

I have a full set of factory cultivators for that B if he wants them.

They been sitting in the woods on blocks, by the edge of my field, for 15 years or so.
