IMG_1161.jpg I have a 1959 mark 26. Tractor looks like yours but different deck. Yours is the only one I've seen with a reel mower. Nice. Here is a pic of mine before restore.

Update: guess who called last evening?? Porter Cable
They looked in to the mower. They said the reason they have very little information is because in the mid 60's Porter cable sold its tractor and lawn mower division to another company that ended up going out of business shortly after they bought the division.

He said my kind of tractor was considered a "lawn mower" and the mark 1's tractors.

He said he believed the mark 26 came out first in the 50's and the 30 in early 60's. He said the 30 had attachments you could buy at the time, he thinks they were all pull type. One he knew of was a set of reel mowers you pulled to make a wider path. He didn't have any information on the other attachments.

He said that it appeared the 30 didn't sell that great lol

That was all he could find
Cool tho

I have a 1958 Porter Cable I bought a few yrs back off eBay and had it shipped to Utah. It was just so unique I had to have it. I plan to restore it and show it off. As soon as I can figure out how to post pics I will get some posted. I was also able to find an original owners manual in New York so when I get the pics figured I can scan a copy of the owners manual for anybody who wants one.

Wow thats cool as heck. I did not even know porter cable made lawn mowers. I love the older porter cable tools the ones that were made in the usa. But wow never thought they made a mower. Thats cool looking , whats that a reel mower?

Porter cable also made the Moto Mower tractors from what I remember...

It's a 6hp Tecumseh motor, the manual says it's a Lauson motor but that makes sence since Tecumseh bought Lauson in 1956. Here's some pics of the option pages listed in the manual....I bet there really hard to find. I plan to build the trailer using the photo as a guide.

What's a Moto mower

Moto Mower is an early garden tractor, made by porter cable in the 50s and 60s.

This is my Moto Mower 6020, seat and motor are not original, dozer blade is a massey ferguson that I got with a different tractor.

As far as I know, every Moto Mower tractor had the same 3 speed transaxle like what I have in the picture below...

Can one of the mods rotate the pics? Thanks!

They originally came with mower decks. Some had sleeve hitch too.
