What happened to the hood?

 It would have had a small scoop on it to clear the valve cover on the original OHV Tecumseh engine, where the hole in the center of the hood is now. The rest has been cut away to clear the Chinese Honda clone engine they swapped in. I agree with Chieffan , it's an over priced hack job.

No appreciation for original parts at all. I would have fabricated a hood before I done this. I'm sure this hack job is a reflection on the rest of the work done.

Ouch! Should of left the hood off and said it was included or missing! If you don't have the talent to make a hood fit somehow, I can just imagine what the total restoration looks like! With a hood like that, Now everyone knows what kind of work this guy does. Hack, Hack, Hack!! YIKES! :hitting_self_roller:
