Face it.  You are not going to get this tractor done in time for the show.

In fact you are never going to finish tis trtactor.

Get rid of the hassle and frustration.

I'll volunteer to come to your place and take that mess of your hands.     Rick          :D

In fact if you come back up this way again you could deliver it.

Actually... that's going to be quite the looker!!

Hope you meet your deadline.

Enjoy showing it off.

I think you could ship it to me, because I'm sure you and your wife are not happy with the look of it.

Very nice, I would like to do a tractor up like that some day, but I don't have that kind of patience and my wife won't help me.

Wow! That is one nice clean and Smooth paint job and details!  I've never done much with Gilsons, but this one is really nice. Darn things looks alot like a Simplicity!  They made by them and re-badged or is it it's own make?  Will be nice to show, shame to get dirty mowing or working, hee! :D

Very nice work! I am glad the show I am prepping for is Oct 1. I hate dead lines as it caused Hurryupites and can cause mistakes or uncompletus.

yup running into that with the kid's Original, it is a PITA to keep from scratching it for that sort of duty, or avoid a drop of gas anywhere for fear of starting the paint to peel...

I do not have patients, but my wife does, and it is her tractor!

Gilson also made Montgomery Wards, and some Fords. I think they made tractors for someone else, but it slips my mind right now!

We missed our original date of June 10....Evansville Indiana GT Extravaganza.

Yes, this tractor has had lots of attention now, but scared to death of the 1st scratch!

Thank you everyone for the nice comments!

That is awesome looking, that's how I want mine to look when I'm done. Can I ask where you got the decals at?

That Gilson is looking great. Wow.. I am repainting mine and was wondering what Orange did you use, just orange or... Also where did you get the G emblem for the steering wheel I would love one of those on mine.

Here is where mine is now, just need to paint the body panels just not sure what color would be closest to the original.

Oh and the stickers for the hood any tips on how to get those would be greatly appreciated.
