Even with the amazing diversity of subjects available I still have to go off topic. Its hard to believe.  Any way I fired up the old Ditch Witch 10 20 today and the boom no longer functions. Can any one direct me to the Ditch Witch forum.    Don in Washington State.

It is isn't it?

Have you tried the oem website?  a lot of times they have free manuals for download...then sometimes they want to charge you 90 bucks too..

Edit.

https://www.ditchwit...sources/manuals

they have a list of manuals, but you may need a service manual....

I don't know...just trying to be helpful or not.  My wife tells me I'm not helpful and I should shut up most of the time...

The manufacturer site considers such things to be propitiatory. The best they will do is refer you to a dealer. Don

I have the operators manual. It is 90 percent an attempt to absolve the manufacturer of responsibility 9 percent sails pitch and 1 percent useful instruction. Total value 10 cents. Don.

That's what most operating manuals are anymore.

On the 5TH  a granddaughter stopped to visit with her 5 yo son. When he visits he has to see and hear everything in the yard run. I fired up the old Ditch witch, he started grabbing handles and controls and everything worked perfectly. Now I'm confused.  Don
