Went to the Ausable Valley Tractor Show last weekend in Mio, MIchigan Saturday. For being a small group who have had some growing pains in the past they are slowly getting to be bigger and better. I used to belong to the group but had to leave when I just couldn't put the time in that needed to be. I ran the kiddie tractor oull for a couple of years and that was a blast. DOn't think they had that this year. I was pushed for time and my camera quit working about half way thru. Although there wern't a lot og GTs there there was afew and they were nice to see. Got a few pictures but did not see any of the members from the group there. I was the guy with the blue GTtalk hat that wandered around drooling at all the tractors and antique equipment.   Enjoy the pics.                        Roger

Thanks for the pics!  I like the venue too, a bit of shade.

I'm going to try and make this one next year.

Neat! IN shade and woods!  I also Love that HOT rod one.  I want to make one now!  Can you tell what that started as ?  Wonder if that is hot rod company hood and grill, maybe fiberglas then, not metal?  I see a Bolens with what looks like a homemade belt guard?  Wonder where he got, or made himself?  Wonder if he knows could make a little $$ selling some of those?  With this set-up, you could tell wife, "Honey, we're going camping", and she would want to go, till she finds the tractors and gives you the rolling eyes look!

I never got to talk to the owner of the hot rod one. He also owned the Bolens. The hood was metal I think. Didn't want to touch it but it syre was painted nice. As we were leving in the truck I saw a young man drivine the bolens with a cart behind it.  Wife likes these as much as I do but we had three Grad partys the same day. I lan on having all 6 of mix and match GTs there next year. As I said it's only 20 miles away so it will not be to bad to get the 5th wheel and other trailer there.
