The locale 4th of July parade is coming up and the theme is americana. We decided to go with a covered wagon dressed to suit, what you think? Gonna ad a few more things like a wash tub and some rope spools plus a few more hoops for the flag cover. More pics to come.
Pete

Good job Pete. I would like to do this maybe next year. One year I built a Noah's Ark on a 18' car hauler. It hauled kids dressed up like farm animals. We had so much fun. Can't wait to see your follow up pics. Love yiur idea too.

Great idea Pete, and it looks great. Good memories to reflect on down the road, too.

Nice project.  Not sure that is a proper way to display an American flag though.  Better find out before the parade to save yourself some grief.

Nice work Pete, no JD ideas this year? I think that your wheel weights should be painted red, white and blue. Good Luck, Rick

After a few pm's and a little thought I decided the flag on top wasn't really appropriate and took it down. Looks better with the canvas anyhow, thanks for the tips everyone. Had to rework the poles anyhow. Now for the girls to decorate:-)

Hope the wind doesn't blow too hard during the parade! That could be a first ever GT kite!

Makes a big difference Pete looks a lot better with just the flags in the back.

Looks great!!!!!  Super build!!!!!

I cringed when I first saw this thread just now and the flag top.  Some vets could have been upset.  SO glad its "fixed".

We have a vets program every weekday on a local radio station and the guy that puts it on really pushes flag etiquette.

He's a Desert Storm vet.
