Define "simple"....Actually I would lean towards you being rather diversified in your endeavors. I really enjoy all the corners you seem to get backed into that you share with us. But then again that is a Simplicity your working on is it not? Huh...

By the way my wife seems to think ALL men are "simple" with only a few cognitive thought patterns centering around sex, sports, sleep and food...just what is she trying to get at anyway ?

I'm thinking that word has too many meanings, then again maybe we are too "simple" to grasp its larger connotations...

Time for coffee.

Got this thing running with engine in it. Can't get wired to run off key or things yet. Trying to find a simple wiring diagram, manuals just showing pix of the harness, not the diagram!  Ends cut off and such, few loose ones not sure of. Puzzle. Not happy with engine making valve clattery noise now. Didn't seem to be like that on bench, but worries me. I might have to go back in and look at clearances, maybe have to take off head and look at them better?  Hope can do in tractor now, darn thing was hard to get in and connected to drive as it is. Reverse didn't work at first, was the release valve stuck down.

I agree getting the engines in and out of those are more work then most gts and for me having the mid pto was not all that needed, so I wanted something a bit simpler to work on and play with seeing that my plan was to just go all in on one brand. I also wondered why have that nice beefey drive shaft when its only connected with a plastic or fiber disk. Have you checked the BGB in that? That is the reason I had mine apart to start with. I would advise to at least get in there and check out the keys they seem to get sloppy first.
