Going after my first Suburban tomarro if weather permits. I found a guy who has a back grove full of some gems some of you would surely be interested in. Boelins, Wheelhorse, JD , Case. I could only find 6484 for the s/n on the shifter plate but looking at pic's on this forum it looks like a 1967. $50 dollars gets me tractor, 42" snowthrower and a 48" deck. everthing is complete except tractor needs a carb. Motor won't turn over by hand but i can deal with that. My question is will a carb off of a 10hp work on a 12hp Tecumse? I think i did alright do you guys. RL :D

Fantastic deal. Yes, the carb from a 10 will fit on a 12. Did the reverse on Ryans MF10, works great.

Thanks for the thumbs-up MH81 and Caseguy. Gonna take alot of work but thats what i like, a challenge. I'v gotta find a pulley for the flywheel and motor belt schroud. Headlights are missing too.I'm going to pull the eng down first to see what shape the old girl is in, she's been sitting for a long time. All i could get off of the shifter plate for s/n was 6484 on the tractor. the place i got her at is only 14 miles from me Caseguy. Got pic's but have to get one of my boys to show me how to getter done so i can post them.:) Thanks again.

Congratulations! Sounds like a good deal. The attachments are worth way more than the $50.00.
