Are you dead set on a 4850?  I have a 4250 that I'd sell.  I have a 4850 as well, but I don't really want to sell...

I find the 4250 does a way better job than the 4850.

Yeah I'm pretty set on the 4850.....not sure the 4250 would even take out the tire tracks!?
Your like everybody else......no one wants to sell and I don't blame anyone for not......I ever find one you'll never be able to pry it outta my cold dead hands either!

Limebuzz......what makes you think the 4250 does a better job???? Is it wide enough to take tire tracks out on a MF 1655????
Thanks

The 48 leaves outside ridges while the 42 don't. I have ags on my 55 and it covers the width. Just, but it does. Good luck with your search.

I keep thinking I want to go with a case tiller and pump on the tractor, that would allow for more accessories like a broom or log splitter also.

Heres one on epay but it's to far a drive for me.

Luke, I simply added a pair of times off an old Allis Chalmers walk behind tiller to my MF4250.  They were exactly the same diameter, plus slid right into the ends of my shafts, holes even worked for the retainer bolts.  I formed steel extensions for the body & bolted on, moving the end caps out to the new ends.  It now cuts a solid 53".  The tractor didn't notice any difference, and it's been going strong now for quite a few years.

Olcowhand,
Could you send me some pictures of your modifications? Thanks
