Hi all. I'm a newbie to this site and it's forums and am looking for help. Picked up an old Garden Tractor that needs work but can't find any Model Number on the tractor. I think it is a 1990's Yardman by MTD. 7/14 Speed, 18HP Twin B&S Motor with a 46" deck. I have attached some photos and hope someone can pin down the Model series or anything else to help identify it so I can get some new parts.

I hope to make it a work tractor for the camp to haul trailer and push a little dirt around etc  so she does not have to be real pretty but I would like to try to fix it up a little. She seems to run pretty good. Excuse the paint job but the previous owner painted it JD Green for his little 5 yr old grandson because he liked John Deer things so much.

Welcome aboard. Not much help I can give, but I'm sure someone will come along shortly with the info you need.

Welcome to GTT. That looks to be an "lawn Tractor" It has a light duty transaxle so don't try to push or pull too hard. You may find the info you need in the MTD Manual http://gardentractor...-lawn-tractors/ Good Luck, Rick

That is more for Mowing or pulling light trailer, not so sure you can "Work" it that hard.  I bet numbers were on Decals and got painted over??  See any bump-ups or squares under seat or on dash areas?  Not sure if you could clean the paints off and see or not. I used to like these tractors for looks, they even looked kinda JD colors, wonder why they changed that??
