I think it came out pretty good. All I had was the lift handle. I made the arms and links and a sleeve hitch adapter for the plow I had. Going on my suburban 15 after I finish it. This is the one I got all the demensions for off of one of Kenny's old posts to build it correctly. Thanks kenny

Looks good!  Hope the handle is correct bends for other model, were some diff ones over years. Not sure I like WHITE!  That tractor here sure is pretty, like those colors. Kinda like modern Sears colors, yet on older tractor, neat!  That adapter thing, would like to see hooked up. I've seen sleeve hitches with big pin, but usually layed over sideways, not vertical, not getting that. Take a pix of something hooked on just for me to understand, ha! :smilewink:

the sleeve hitch piece is part of the plow. The end of the plow is made like a fork and it slides into the fork and bolts on. Usually you just leave it on the plow and pull the big pin out. But I wanted the hitch on and didn't want the top link scratching my paint. So I put that sleeve piece on it to hold it.that is the factory color of the tractor. It is a 79 GT18. The 78 and 79 was black and silver. I painted the 3pt. White because it's going on my ss15. That is the correct color for the ss. Here is a pic of the plow when I was painting it so you can see the end

I see, conventional sleeve is mounted already, this part is a vertical adapter!  OK, well that is different than most. Makes a diff style top link then too, get it now.

Good look. Both the tractor and three point.
If you ever do any rehab work to the adapter, consider making an A frame so you can use non 10* tilted sleeve hitch pieces like discs, etc

The pictures of your hitch are very interesting to me. I live in Washington where these tractors seem more rare than the east or mid west. Parts are hard to find and very expensive. I got my tractor bare butt, nothing back there but the sloped plate with a hole in it for a tow hitch. You referenced "Kenny's old posts" where you got the dimensions. Would it be possible for you to put up a link to those posts to make it ease on us lazy people who have a hard time searching old posts. Thank you very much for sharing your skills.  Don

Those were some of my old posts. I'll see if I can find some for you.
