Anyone know the correct drive belt length for the fs-942 mine is worn an probably stretched thought it was just the trans leak that was making it not want to move but after looking at the belt i think that has more to do with it then anything. if anyone has a parts list for the frame steer line that would be great a manual would be even better but from what i have seen a manual for one of these is almost impossible to come by :(

Can't help you on the belt length but belts don't really stretch much after the run in period it may be the belt is worn  on the sides making it bottom out in the sheaves . Napa or any good hardware or farm supply shop should be able to measure it for you.

Also if the pulleys / sheaves are not aligned slippage will occur.

Hope this helps you.

There are 4 belts on the 942 Articulator.

The transmission drive belt is part # 1813220, 1/2 x 37"

The PTO drive belt is part # 1813561, 1/2 x 54.4"

The mower deck drive belt is part # 1743876, 1/2 x 98-1/4"

And finally the model 15570 42" mower deck attachment - deck belt is part # 1728133, 1/2 x 92"

I just noticed you mentioned your trans is leaking. It should not leak, as it not filled with oil. It should be filled with grease. The transmission is a Peerless model 758.

I'll try to get the Articulator parts manuals scanned and uploaded for the 940, 942, 943 and 944 soon.
