I have adjusted the drawing and have taken some of that downward angle out.

Well, I hope no one sees any serious issue with that last drawing as I have the rockshaft built! Even added a grease zerk.

Fast work, Kenny! Looks good.

Since then, I have raised the mount point on the 3-point and made up the lift bar to it.

Now to build the courage to take the knife to Alice. Gonna have to take her out and turn around. That will give me more room. I dread removing wheel weights, they are heavy. Plus the wheel has to come off along with the fender and LH foot board! The tire and wheel weight 120 lbs.

I sourced the orings you need. This will do a complete 2 spool Valve including the spool seals Pt# 206.

Anybody want a set let me know.

$5.00 US free Shipping.

Can do Pay Pal.

We are changing the metric oring to an 012 American size.  The metric works but I feel the 012 is a better fit.

Could one of you Mods delete my post 103 to get rid of the other information.

When we get through this I will do an article with all this info in one place.

I think that's out as I won't have space to mount it! Gonna be tough to get this cylinder in there!

Turned Alice around so I would have more room to work. Started the surgery! Had to remove a shoe and some clothes.

DSCN2448.JPG

When I took that pic, I noticed another issue with the brake. Gotta fix that while I'm in there!

DSCN2449.JPG

Got the clothes off.

DSCN2450.JPG

Got the brake band out. May be fun to reinstall!

DSCN2451.JPG

And yet another issue with the parking brake holder. Have to fix that too!

DSCN2452.JPG

I brought the brake and JB Weld in the house to warm up. I'll fix that later so it can dry good. I also have the oil filter hanger off and working on fixing that!

The brake band is setting up. I used JB Kwik on it. Got a few more things accomplished. The bar stock going from the front rockshaft to the 3-point was only 1/4" material. Was afraid it might try to bend. Had a piece of 3/8" square stock, so I stitched it to the side for more strength.

DSCN2453.JPG

Got the filter mount done. Even squirted some black paint on it.

DSCN2454.JPG

And the new parking brake holder is ready.

DSCN2455.JPG

Would do more but it's getting quite chilly and damp out there and I don't want to start a fire this time of day.

Put the brake mechanism back in and found another pair of issues. Had to take more parts off to work on those. First, the rod to the pedal was rubbing the rockshaft.

DSCN2456.JPG

And the parking brake shaft wasn't able to align to the hole.

DSCN2457.JPG

Had to pull the 'box' off to make a notch for that.

DSCN2458.JPG

Got some paint on things. Had to wait for that to dry.

DSCN2459.JPG

My daughter came over, so the rest of the day was with her.

Sitting here thinking, that brake rod to the pedal may be in the way of the new cylinder mount. Gonna have to look into that. Got COLD weather coming in a couple days (highs in the 30's).Hope I can have this back together tomorrow, but it will be pushing it.

Got a little done today! Spent most of the day trying to get the wood stove top put out heat. Got an upgrade coming for that, but that's next week! Mounted the 3-point and found another interference issue. Sorry for the blurry pic.

DSCN2460.JPG

Took care of that and shortened the pin there. Here's a rear view. Without the cylinder attached I have more lift than before height wise.

DSCN2461.JPG    DSCN2462.JPG

Worked on some parts for the cylinder mount and gave up for the day. I'm freezing! Had a south breeze into the shop and it wasn't warm!
