Got an issue with Alice! Every valve I have put on her leaks badly at the back end of the valve! I just put a 2 spool off an 1855 MF on there and now I can't lift the fork lift with an empty pallet. Lots of squealing going on. Anybody have a clue what the issue is?

Could be a blocked passage in the valve body. Some valves only allow oil to flow through it in one direction, could it be plumbed up backwards?

I checked that before installation. Seems odd that every valve I put on here does the same thing (leak from the back side). And now no lift at all.

Low power and squealing relief valve. Drip out of caps bad o ring or scratched spool. As always when doing relief valves run gage to know pressure you have.

My biggest question it why 3 different valves? And it's not a drip! More like a flood! No $ for a gauge right now!

Blowing backside of three different  valves like Brian said you just about have to have plumbing running backwards. Or your hydro putting out way to much pressure.

It's not running backwards! Been checked many times! But I'll do it again!

Is there any chance you have a damaged hose or fitting?

Line from the charge pump is the inlet line, right? I thought I had the wrong filter on it. So I put the one that came with the filter adapter on. No change. Wondering if the return line from the filter is bad inside? I'm lost here!

Most all fittings are new. Guess I can OD the account and get a gauge and fittings to hook it up.

Another way to get messed up pressure with two spool in tight quarters both spools hooked to same cylinder. Two hoses crisscrossed making dead head.

What is the Open flow and Closed flow systems mean?  Might have valve from the wrong type system? I would say a blockage also, blame the new valve for not being correct one or set-up. All leaking?  Too much pressure?  O-rings just got old and worn/dried out from when unit was outside setting those years?

Kenny

What's the model of you tractor?  Also is the return line from the valve open and routed to tank?

Kenny does this valve have power beyond?? If all your spools leak that bad, you have a low pressure return issue, something is not correct, and the flow is being blocked. Get a bucket and unhook the return hose and get the open ends in it. Start rig up at idle and see if you have good flow before and after filter, then check the fitting that goes into the hydro on the side to be sure all is well there and it has no restrictions .
The charge pumps on the Eaton 11 are not a hi pressure unit, the internal one is that drives them.
