The 2nd Annual AJ's Garden Tractor Jamboree went off without too much problem today, although for the 2nd time, the weather was less than completely cooperative. Highs in the low 50's, windy, and occasionally spitting rain. Pretty much like last year! Especially annoying because the weather was hot and sunny earlier in the week!

Even so, I think most of us enjoyed ourselves. I got to meet Adam and Michelle from here, and found them to be really nice folks, along with many others that I got to talk to. And the Jamboree organizers asked me to demonstrate my Danuser CD-1 post hole digger mounted on a Bolens HT23. That was a surprise, and kind of fun. Slow start on the dig because they picked a spot that was wet with lots of clay, so Andy had to kind of hang on the power head to add down pressure until it cut through the muck. Afterwards, the young boys there had a field day with their Tonka equipment filling in the hole I made. (I think they had even more fun than I did.)

I hope someone else got some pictures of the whole affair, because I did not have my camera with me.

That sounded like a lot of fun, but my show schedule was already kinda full for the year. Besides it is too far from me anyway. Hope to see some pictures, I'm sure Adam and Michelle got some.

I charged the camera, even made a seperate trip back to the van to get the camera. But with the weather as crappy as it was, and with all the activities going on we sadly didnt take any pictures. There was plenty of nice tractors there for the bare eye to enjoy, the demo of the post hole digger, the toy barn where AJ's family tractor collection was on display. After all that we just couldnt break away from all the fun to take pictures. Hopefully for the closer shows we will take some pictures.

I took a couple pictures with my cell phone and some videos of the catapult launching bowling balls, small engines, and push mowers at two lawn mowers. I'll get them loaded soon.

I did find a little toy for myself. Walked through the model area and what did I see? A mini 'bota! Same model and decals!

Glad to hear yas had a good time. The weather has not been cooperating at all so far this year. Bummer on the lack of pics though LOL.

I was equally disappointed about the pic shortcomings George. At least at Cochranton Plow Day I knew you had pictures covered so I left my camera in the truck intentionally. :D

Thanks for sharing what pictures you had. It was very, very disappointing to miss an actual GT show so close to home, but I had to work all day. Maybe I will be able to go next year... think they might expand it to Saturday and Sunday???

No indications that they will expand it just yet. As for pics, I think the organizers will probably post some on their site. We shall see.

Well at least it sounds like you had fun. Glad you got to play too.
Would it be possible to link to their website? Then we can watch for pics.

Andy sent me several disks full of pics from last year's show and I bet he has a bunch from this years show! I really hope next year I can make it up there. I just have too many commitments this month. I predict his show will keep growing every year.
