Bob wanted to be the 1st one on the beach, so he just "camped out" there the night before.

He did forget about the tide coming in!

The first thing John bought even before building his beach house was a couch. Although it's a good thing he set it up first because he forgot to take into account the tide

The new super high definition TVs are amazing! It's like you are right there in the picture.

A living room scene without windows or doors

No wall to wall carpet or hardwood floors

A couch at the beach surrounded by sand

With water encroaching it won't remain land

Not sure the intent as there is no shelter

Without some shade he'll begin to swelter

What starts as a tan may soon become

A bit of a  burn - would be painful to some

Feet up on a mattress draped over a bed

Could soon become more than a little red

To place these items in a beach setting

Must have caused more than a little sweating

Lifting at some point would have been required

I imagine that is probably why he looks kinda tired

Let's hope they float when the water comes in

And he is not caught in a fix up to his chin

Myself I would rather the sand and a large towel

A canopy for shade from the sun and the fowl

For he may fall asleep and become a resting spot

For the waste of a bird who just ate a lot

Hotel Security is looking to where the stolen couch may have gone today!  Anyone seen it?
